Dr. Norris has had his paper entitled "Linking the New Digital Divide: A Curriculum Focus for Independent Mobile Business Units" accepted by the journal "Issues in Information Systems".  This publication will coincide with a presentation of the paper at the International Association of Computer Information Systems 2010 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 6-9.

Being a student in higher education these days means you have generally overcome many of the obstacles that have foundered approximately 50% of those that attempt to get that far according to national statistics.  But the fact is, today undergraduate education is really just an extension of high school in the feel and in how students behave.  There is a sense of entitlement, the need for explicit instructions, and clear, well defined, and unchanging objectives.
